shock problem

my s13 had some shock its blown i took it out and put it side by side with a stock shock.. stock shock is longer.. why? will i loose my ride hight if i use the lowering springs from the shorter shock?? do i have to cut them?? i installed the stock shock with the spring from the other shorter shock and the car is high as fuck y? wat do i have to do to get it lower????
 
one is probably lower cuz its blown the shock lowers as its being pressured causing it to move down..or up with no pressure... get a new shock and you would be good or get coilovers
 
obviously if you use the lowering spring you will lose ride height, so put those on if its too high. also your wording is a little confusing.
 
I put the stock shock with the lowering springs but wen I put it all togehther I looked at the spring and it looked all compressed like it wanted to comeout from the middle... Y? Do I have to cut them or wat do I do?
 
buy coilovers ..i am currently running blown to chit shocks with 2 rings on my springs and im still high...

you shouldnt have to cut any springs, ever. the lowering springs you have sound a lot like ebay ones that over time bulge out in the middle, thats trash.
please buy proper springs from a reputable company. if you cant afford good springs or coilovers your better off staying high than chopping springs, it aint worth the trouble to look cool if you gotta be ghetto about it.

X2 I would recommend savin your money for coils intead of wasting money on lowering spring and replacing blown shocks and stuff
