okay i do love this video but lets make it more realistic for how things have been lately...ill start it but please comment away

eeeewww...wtf is that a go kart track...
2nd gear drifting is for noobs.
ebrakes are for posers.
where is the wide open throttle 3rd gear oval drifting.
those guys should have started with open dif so they could learn weight tranfer

Why didnt they third gear that 180* turn. Losers. That is West Coast FL drifting for your ass

the reason i get a kick out of that track is it seems like small technical tracks arent the cool thing anymore FD is the only way to drift these days. i think i read on hitnrungarages site that they want to preserve the grassroots style of drift. i wish FD had events like this. so that money and hp cant just run away.

The Mainstream wants to see highspeed drifting. It keeps the crowd in it. A technical course would kill speed (Compared to a sweeper that is) and bore the crowd. So obviously FD wants to have a crowd therefore, its Go big or go home...

ok, yea, that track would be cool because it is wide enough and is a cool layout. Its not a boomers track that got washed away by the gulf of mexico.

You dont need alot of money to make power... Just knowledge. and for the record, FD does suck cockle

I see your reason behind why people don't like small technical tracks but the true fans of drifting know better. Technical tracks can be just as exciting as high speed ones because the cars are always close, very close. I would love to drive in one, its a great equalizer(even more for 86s :bigthumbu ).

I remember seeing Hayashi(sp?) drive a 100ps 86 in D1 a few years back in the rain in a tight track and make it to the tandem rounds. I know he made it in the top 32 though. I think Hibino was there also. Thats just awesome, Americans love the underdog and whats more underdog than that. I think I have the same hp he had, with way less skill but I'm working on that. :bigthumbu

fuck mainstream, fuck FD, fuck money bought HP. People forget why drifting is fun. I would rather see technical tracks than full blown 9th gear runs at 20deg angle.

good video. find that more entertaining to watch than a big sweeper...(honestly, not just going with the grain of the thread) smoke and speed are cool, but watching two cars tandem, how they brake, turn and accelerate simultaneously is just cool.
