at a respectable/concievable range. haha whats the point of long distance pratice if gunfights are usually 10-15 ft away (if ur lucky)

They say 21 feet is the best distance to shoot, that is the minimum safe distance. The reason is if someone comes at you it gives you sufficient time to unholster and put some holes into them, any closer and it gives a scumbag time to reach you before you have your gun out and possibly disarm you, stab you, club you etc.
PS kimbers are very nice, you cant beat a 1911 for over all performance.
