i am interested, but need to break in my engine. i just rebuilt it and i'm a lil off on the valve timing runs like arse. Will get it done mid-this week. i'm 95% there! there's no other place that will get me so much seat time my shoulders get tired half way into the day.

come out support this venue!!

edit: coming out on sunday. there's chance for rain on saturday. Last time it rained we had a ton of fun still, i chipped a tailight, flooded my interior (literally) and even managed to soak the headliner back when i had one. only used one pair of tires, drove home on the second after 2hours or so total of intermitent seat time.
 
Me, Dan, and Tom are gonna be there Sunday. Come out and play cars with us.
 
It was really cold today, and really awesome. We did lots of 4th gear drifting. That place is so fun.
 
^^ i wasnt brave enough to venture into 4th, but i agree the place is awesome.. i wasn't happy about them not letting us move the cones around and make a course sort of to give us something to aim for.

Did you guys see the frozen orange trees and nurseries lol!!
 
yea i want ls1 in car and then practice with it there to get a feel for it ^^

Ls1s are honestly cheating. Like seriously it's kind of a joke. I probably won't ever want to drive with you ever again if you have an Ls1 haha.

I did one run in 3rd, and was on rev limiter, so was like "hmm, I wonder if it'll do 4th". So next run I entered in 4th and the car was pumped, held 4th through the long first part of the turn, downshifted to 3rd to go around the cones, and while powering out in 3rd I thought, "I wonder if it'll handle an upshift to 4th?", so on the final transition I upshifted to 4th and powered through the last turn no problem. I was just laughing in my car.

It's an all the way stock Ls1 in a full-on street car. The same shit in a full-on racecar would be nuts.

Yesterday I lost tons of respect for drivers of v8 drift cars everywhere haha.

haha i know but seriously, it would be nice to no fight the car the entire way through a course. and ... i love the sound
 
The biggest challenge for a 400/400 ls1 13 would be fitting the 315's under it. I plan on running 265/35/18's with like 30psi hot.... And probably take some air out.
 
im running 275s as of now, when i get it all going thats my first set im trying. N6000s should be too ^^
