S14 passenger side rear caliper won't always lock

So my passenger side rear brake caliper won't lock when I e-brake intiate into a left turn. So only the inside driver rear wheel locks up. But when I intiate into a right turn...both lock up right away.

I tested this at 35-40 mph an I have BEAR brake pads. An it still does this even after I tighten the cable with a 10mm socket on the actual lever. So I know the issue is on the caliper itself.

It has been doing this for a long time now an I just ignored it, but now I'm tired of it. I am upgrading to Hydro system but for now until I can fund that system any tips or places on the caliper I can look or tighten would be great.

Thanks.

get dual caliper setup in the rear and eliminate that issue

my ebrake sucks all together and i just use it to park at times and saving up for the rear dual caliper setup

I find from just messing around that if you dont tap the brake or feint right before pulling the ebrake in my s14, that only my drivers side locks up. im guessing your using something like a vsld, because in you wouldnt have that issue with a welded.

I have a welded lol my brakes won't lock up even if I pull the handle into the backseat

Make sure the ebrake cam on the calipers move freely, also make sure the slides aren't binding.

I run cables and it doesn't matter 2mph or 100mph I get lock up.

I'm going to do a duel caliper set up but I dn't have the few hundred dollars to set one up in 2 weeks.

An I run a Kazz LSD.

Thanks Estie I'll check those. I hope your gonna do king of countyline. We need a good top 32 group.:driving:

I replaced one caliper and nodded the sea horses. Locks everytime no matter how fast or slow then again I have Hawk hp+ pads in the rear.

^Yea I'm not trying to really spend money cuz I want to have a duel caliper hydro set up. How much did you get the sea horses for and where?

you dont need a dual caliper
just jack up the rear and put the ebrake up see if that wheel still turns or if it holds lightly.
bleed the caliper some. if anything take the pads off and see if the piston is frozen. if it is get new caliper and do work
