Question to my conversion specialists:

...I am in the process of building my S13/S15 front end conversion....Front bumper (completed), Front finders (completed), Head lamps (completed & half operational at the moment...only signals and daytime lamps working at the moment).....
Ok, heres the problem...meanwhile i am currently waiting on my carbon fiber hood...OEM which has been on back order for freakin ever and a day....(oh yea, if anyone knows of one available here in FL..let me know and ill buy it now...if price is reasonable)...my question is: I have S13 hinges fromm the S13 hood still mounted; can i use those same hinges to fit an S15 hood....if not, what mods can i make...or must i buy the S15 hinges as well?

yea we recently did a strawberry faced conversion up here and the s13 hinges wont work...well they can with slight modification but I wouldnt recommend it. Ill pm my friend and see where he got them from, but it would probably be better to call drag international since there local and most likely the part is up here in CT.
 
gat damn, nice conversion. when i get my S14 i want to do this conversion...
 
.....well, still waiting on my hood from my last delivery....good news is, i got the S15 headlamps to work.....very nice looking!

.... im curious, i havent been able to fid anyone that has done the work for the ad-ons for wider rear quarter panels. now that i have the wider front fenders i feel that it looks silly wihtout the rear looking the same....

i kinda dont wanna roll the rear fenders because i know it wont quite look the same. actually, wont look the same at all.

any sites that i have over looked that would have info for me?

...holy crap! i went to that site, man he did sum major a$$ work on that car to get the wide fenders.... well, that just futher encouraged me to have that portion of my body work done by a shop lol. i dont have the tools to put those fastners in the side panel... maybe if i had those fastners i could do it...i do have a grinder to cut the fender... i dunno, im willing to do it if someone is there that has the experience..other wise ill prolly screw that up big time lol...

Well, I don't have experience with this, but I can sit there with a laptop and tell you what to do every step of the way if you want me to. ;)
 
lol...that would actually be pretty funny to watch....i guess its something i will have to research a little more.....trust though..it will be done!!! (then watch me go wreck it on a wide turn :(
