Hello,

I finished installing rucas on my s13. Went from about 3.5 degrees to about 1.5 (yeah I know).

So here's the problem:

I took it for a test drive and when I turned into the intersection, I noticed that my wheel hop was pretty noticeable. I mean the entire rear end of my car is like in the air when turning into the intersection. I have a welded and I know that doesn't help but should it be that bad? Suggestions? Thanks.

dude, normal for a welded. its just more noticeable now with the camber "fixed"

Welcome to the world of a welded diff

You have less camber so you are getting more traction so the wheel hop feels worse Instead of just skipping along

It's already been said. By correcting the camber, you have gained a lot of traction. Traction that you have to lose when turning with a welded diff since both wheels spin at the same speed.

To "fix" the problem, you'd need to get rid of the welded diff.

could also be your subframe bushings are shot and your getting wheel hop from subframe jumping around.

i remember my cressida had a welded but i never got any wheel hop, just tire squealing (i also had 0 camber in the rear too so can't say it was because of camber).

could be a number of things tho (weight of the car, size of the tires, how wide the wheels are, bushings in the arms, etc)
