S13 cooling system

so i took off the fan from the water pump and wired the a/c fan to start spining as soon as i turn the key. now i want to know if that can cause my car to overheat. the fact that it starts spinning as soon as i turn the key because i same a hialeah guy that had a kouki on boost with just tha a/c fan but his fan turned on when it reached a certain temp. hit car never over heated yet mine does all the time. or is the fan, like other things, just too small?

thanks for your help.

did you check your clutch fan before you took it off? you could be overheating for other reasons.
anyways i wouldnt recomend driving like that since that fan is a lil piece of shit. since you went that way just go to the junker and get altima fans. and wire them up through a thermo switch. i made a write up on it in the elctrical section.
good luck.

yea thats what im looking to get, the altima electric fans. but i dont get how that one guy was on boost and running that just that fan.

na. its spliced on to a black wire with a redline on it. that wire is located on a plug that connects to the wire harnest by the battery.

take the the fucking fans in my garage.they are not altima but you aint one to be asking for pricey stuff right now.so take mines as a temporary solution.

you better not have that shit running off your Fuel Pump fuse.

There is no problem with that at all, if he has it wired up on a relay. I've had 3 cars wired up like that and all are running perfectly fine for over a year now.

The black wire with the red stripe is the fuel pump wire.
