roll cage

I bought the padding off summitracing. My head sits just under the Recaro logo, I could fit a basketball between my head and that bar dude. Unless my harness breaks and my ejector seat malfunctions, I think im ok..
 
I'm short and I still sit higher than that so it's an issue for anyone that isn't a midget. Also you do understand that the webbing in harnesses stretch a lot in an accident right that's why they are garbage after one accident
 
Im 5'10, the seat is prolly 1" from the floor board, and those bars are as close as they are going to get without touching. I don't know what else to tell you dude

you are short as fuck, and an exception to this being dangerous. normal sized ppl hit their heads, end of story
 
I have a DCW custom built cage with the halo/apillar bars as far up as they can go and when I crash I slam the FUCK outta my head.

And your post about tube front and rear cars is stupid. Its the actual cockpit and strut towers of the car that keep them together. The front and rear of a car is built to crush to lessen the impact in the cockpit of the car. The actual cockpit and strut towers are built to be strong as fuck and not crush.

pads i dont think will really help in a t-bone situation on the streets unless u were wearing a helmet, but who the hell wears one on the streets. i guess its a "if ur going to be dumb then u gotta be tough" situation dd-ing a car with a cage.
so the enjuku s&w cage is the way to go, from what ive herd and i just got my paycheck today WOOT WOOT!!!

Cause no ones going to take advice from someone that doesn't slide when it comes to something like this. And from someone that might not even have a cage idk of you do or don't
 
If you mount your seat properly, and the cage is fit good, you won't hit your head on anything. Unless you're real tall. I'm 6'2" and I can move my head around with my helmet on and not hit anything.
