Risky Devils

^^Because it takes good camera equipment, LOTS of time and effort, and money. The only way you could make a cool drift video is if you are either doing something super crazy on a track, or something pretty crazy on the street. 2nd gear street drifting can suckkkk it hard. Just sayin.

edit** also, most people that street slide, are just getting into drifting so they aren't very good. It would be awesome to see a street drift video of dudes realllly killing it, and tandem and stuff, and stuff that looks real scary.

Well that's what im talking about some grass roots stuff like Slide America. I'd said track stuff because I rather not street drift just my opinion i used to but stopped. Everyone knows someone with a camera. On this forum alone there's some people that are really good at editing. My point is if they can do it why cant we? also everyone complains "oh the Florida drift scene isn't on the map and no one knows about us down here". its time to do something about that especially because there wont be much more countyline events due to lack of support from spectators. Its a lot like advertising.
 
fuck track videos.....FL needs to rep in a sick ass street drift video. I think i'm taking my coupe out on my roads for some mountain drift clips.

you guys can make a sick vid if you really wanted to but...i doubt ya'll will. so let the hate continue...
 
Why does everyone have to always bash other peoples vids. We all are part of a sport that we all love and enjoy. Instead of saying "you suck" or "mine is better". Lets just enjoy the footage.
 
all I said is that people not from the east coast enter real boring.

I used to street slide to practice for the track....so I would drive the same on the street and the track.

makes sense right?

When you play baseball in an empty lot, you play just as hard as you would in a stadium....amirite?
 
I just joined this forum yest, cus I'm moving to FL in June, but someone posted something about risky devil on my new members thread, so I figured I'd search it, and came across this thread.

ummmm...the only event I missed last season was a two day event at Gateway Int'l raceway...and I actually made it there, but blew my clutch on the way, so I sat in the pits for both days.
No one in RD claims to be anything. RD has gotten alotta love from all around the world for doing what love. Building cars, driving the shit out of them, rebuilding them, and hanging out with friends in the process.

T2 Films vids are done with one camera, and a mac. There is alot more to these videos. These are all teasers to the T2 Films DVD.

We do not claim to be anything. We have gotten alotta love from all around the world for doing what we love. Building cars, driving the shit out of them, rebuilding them, and hanging out with friends in the process. And thats what we do.

the quality of video should have been matched with the drifting. this isn't an attack on u. it's my opinion. and u can look at my vids they're posted all over here. the dude ill roller (on the lexus forums) was probably the only good one on that vid. and there was barely any of him in it.

I will never take your opinion as a personal attack. Anyone who posts vids online opens themselves up for both love and hate. If you know RD as a group, you know that Ill roller(AJ) and the red FC (Ilia) are the only two risky devils driving in that vid...the rest of the crew was at ASB in Cali during that time. Nackers(350z) krazy Kris (tatoo guy with pink lsx 240), Crab spirits(Z31) hachiroku (lil phil) and Juan (180sx) are all good friends of ours. Tha vids called sunday funday, its all about having fun =).
PS- That red FC has 68 wheel hp lol.
