Rhys Millen Breaks His Own World Record at Pikes Peak

Rhys Millen left Formula D Las Vegas and headed out to Pikes Peak to drive his Hyundai in the RWD Time Attack Class. Rhys held the current record in this class with a time of 12 minutes, 31.61 seconds before this weekend. With the Hyundai he was able to lay down a 12 minutes, 9 seconds (12:09.397) which is flying around the course. I heard reports that he was Drifting around the course and at times coming within inches of guardrails. His new current time he put up at the 87th Pikes Peak this weekend was over one minute faster than the second place car in his class, nice work sir!
