hey, im tryin to take off my rear rotor disc and hub on my S14. Ive seen on s13s the hub slips off, ive already removed the caliper but the hub doesnt budge, is it a slip on and seized? or i have to remove the center hub cottor pin and bolt? thanks

there are four bolts that hold it in... anddddd... the hubs are pressed in so they will take effort to come off. spray some WD40 or similar to help you out and then either press the hub out or i used the 4 bolts litely hammering them 4 to knock it out.. GL

lol im just trying to take off the rotor, need to replace a worn stud

remove the caliper (2 bolts), and the caliper mount (2 larger bolts)

then just slip off the rotor.

you made it sound to the other guys like you needed to remove the whole hub.

yeah i did took off the caliper (just took off the 2 17mm bolts and slide the caliper off the rotor) and I go to pull the rotor and it wont come off, i even hit it with a hammer and soaked it in wd40...maybe its seized to the hub?

It looks like you need to hit the gym.

Hit the rotor from both the front and rear to knock it loose.

lol, i used alot of elbow grease, even used two hands and pulled back with all my weight multiple times, i pulled so hard the car started rocking on the jack stand:cool:

Take a sledge hammer to it. It will come off. Don't pussy tap it.

yea i hammered it with a heavy hammer not a wimpy mallet, hit it so hard the back of my rotor started getting scratches. im gonna get a bigger hammer, now that i know for sure that it just slips off.

there should be a threaded hole in the rotor in between two of the lugs..
you thread a bolt in there and it goes through the rotor and hits the hub which pushes the rotor off the hub

check for the threaded hole if none then get a piece of wood and sledge hammer and keep soaking it it will come off i promise. hit the wood that way it doesnt damage the rotor.
