rear end after swapping a j30 diff.... wtf?

my rear end tends to sway side to side now when i try to clutch kick turns,

i can do circle drifts fine & donuts fine but if i go to just drift the car kinda sways, feels like bushings are shot? maybe something is loose? help me out please i wanna go to countyline..

Maybe your sway bar bushings are garbage, dans hatch had a problem like this too but he didnt fix it he just crashed instead

its hard to explain, the car kinda fishtails without spinning the tires..

when i clutch kick, it does this...and doesnt slide... dont think its anything to do with sway bar bushings

go to our little meet wendsday night at sonics well see

ill be there this week

ok i think i know what it is. it sounds alot like what an open diff would do. can you maintain a drift?

I would do solid subframe bushings but I daily drive mine & heard the ride is harsh...er with solids

I just got my rear subframe put in with solid aluminum bushings. The ride feels great! I have the same coilovers you do, and I daily mine too, trust me, solid bushings will make a ton of a difference, and make the ride even better. Now instead of that sloppy feeling you get in the rear when sliding around a turn, you get complete smooth slide with no tire bounce. You drive a 240 with coilovers, its already a stiff ride lol, it wont make it too much harsher.

ok i gotta mess with a few other things & still try & find out whats going on.. i havnt had much time to check it out
