i want to do an rb25 swap to my 240 but i have a question i do not have the motor harness anymore for my coupe.. do i just need to find another wiring harness for the car and then get the rb and do the wiring or what is needed? i appreciate
 
You dont need motor harness for coupe. You need motor harness for rb25, then it's just power, grounds, relays and go.
 
i know the swap can be done im just concerned because i got the shell with no wiring under the hood so what harness do i need? do i need a harness from the body to the motor or what?
 
Dude there is no write up for the rb swap in a 240sx what your doing right now is insane.
 
people pull the ka motors from there 240s and do some extending on wires and get the rb25 started up i guess what im wondering is if i get a ka motor harness can i modify it to work
 
dude no alot of the plugs are not the same. you would need to extend the maf because the rb came in a rhd and the ecu would be on the left side of the car instead of the right like it is in the states
 
so if i get the wiring harness for an rb25 car and the rb25 i can work with it in my 240 by removing the dash according to the website you posted.. I appreciate the help the wiring is what im concerned with
 
you'll need motor ,tranny, wiring harness, ecu, maf,ignitor chip, custom driveshaft, engine crossmember off of a r32 or cefiro. etc etc etc
 
well i plan on getting the complete motorset from a company here locally thats pretty reputable around here... and i have found a rb25 wiring harness so that along with the mounts and other needed products and it could be done cuz me missing the wiring harness i didnt know how bad of an issue that was gonna cause
