Hey Guys ,

gotta a question on regards for the owners of s13,s14,n s15s what type of model would you recommend for a better drifting , reason of asking its because i have some cash and im looking to buy a running 240sx but now that we are on 2010 jumping soon to 2011 parts its getting pretty difficult to find for the s13s. now i want to know whats pretty best to find a good drift car s13 or an s14 or s15. whats their upside and downside in regards of benefits, hard or easy 2 finding parts, better or poor control in hitting corners, cheap or expensive 2 upgrade parts.

Now i know that s15 are pretty expensive to buy 1 damm i know that will take me a little time to save some cash to buy 1 but thats only if i go for s15 and dont know much difference between s14 n s15 only front and back look, im thinking if i go s14 i can swap conversion s15 front to s14 body will have to just buy fenders, bumper, headlights s15 and hood and will be an S14.5, is it something else different from s14 vs s15, weight less the s15, it handles better than s14, s15 has better suspension. and how about s14 vs s13. i think that s13 handles better than s14 on corners.

bottom line im thinking for a s13 or s14, long shot for a s15 :D may be who knows, i found an s13 and s14 both cars running, both 5 spd, both pretty close stock near same mileage and the Money $$ Cost they are asking almost near the same amount for their s13 or the s14, i just wanna know which car should i go for drifting since i got bored running str8 line and decide to go for much more fun drifting as beginner.

thanks guys and girls, hope to hear honest comments about your experience from your current or ex car s13, s14 or s15.

P.S.

if you have a S13 or S14 good condition. Clean Title no Rebuild. and you looking to sell it let me know .

thanks.

s13 is the cheapest and the oldest and u can get away with ziptieing everything..s14s in my opinion too new to so that stuff, s15s BADASS!!

don't bother with a 15 for learner car, essentially its the same as an S14 just has a little bit wider rear track and has more power stock but even then its only 250hp and that is easily attainable in either an S13 or S14.

Go for an S13 and drive the PISS out of it, treat it like a dirty whore you fucked till she was unconscious and left her on the street in a pool of her own vomit. You learn quicker when you aren't worried about fucking it up.

cool guys , i got now a S14 1995 nissan 240 sx. pretty fully stock 5 spd. no modifications done almost nothing.

i think it will be better that way.

any how let see what should i do next .

accually piner, the s14 is the widest of all s-chassis. i know bc i took automotive design class in college. and i wanted to design a new "silvia" so i had to get all measurment specs of all s-chassis and came to find out s14's are the widest. but only like by an inch if i remember. but to the guy who posted this. do reaserch. all s-chassis models will be a great drift car. i love my s14, i love how it handles. ive drifted s13 and to be honest they feel too twichy. but thats my opinion. but if u properly set up any s-chassis for drifting. the car would drift itself. look online, check out all the different styles between s13-s14. u can make them all look good, with NUMEROUS aftermarket parts for days for all s-chassis models.

Yeah what he said^ n skinny acualy nissan was making a s16 but supposibly there not anymore cuz the rumor got out or some shit it said in the magazine.

youd be better off buying what looks better to you. they are all so similar it wont really matter much.

whats a good quality coilovers and adjustable suspension arms for the S14.

something decent and not too cheap. cuz you know how the latin says " Lo Barato sale Caro " :D , anyways. i was looking on the tokico, Cusco and Tein brand new or used. but i think better buy new set of coilovers, which brand its the best good price and ideal performance for drifting to S14.

I wanna start doing some upgrades for the Suspension System. oh yeah , what brand it gives great suspension bushings upgrade for the S14s, i think the red color its more for drag racing class and the black color suspension bushings its more ideal since its for street class i believe ?

Here it is Cusco set of Great Coilovers. not bad really. im going full thread its better for drift performance.

i really feel like i should be mad at you, and say something stupid in an attempt to start a flame war but im gunna leave my 2 cents prior to the answers of GOOGLE!!!!! i would recommend not cheaping out on coilovers... STANCE, PBM, something tried and true... you wont regret the extra 500 bucks!

energy suspension is tried and true.... please just search a little... everyone uses the energy suspension bushing kit... (dont know about colors excpet i know everyone uses red) stiffer the better with the bushings i guess.. anyway just use google and you will last a lot longer around here

what the hell are you talking about man? coilovers are only as good as you are willing to spend. basically anything over 1500 buck is gonna be a good quality coilover. SPL makes good quality stuff like arms and bushings but they are expensive. it all comes down to how much youre willing to spend
