So I just turned 21 and will soon be getting my concealed weapons permit. I'm aware that their are actually a lot of gun enthusiasts on this forum and was wondering what would be a good, first pistol?

So far I've shot:

AR-15
12 Gauge

and that's about it. Keep in mind that I AM on a budget. Thanks fellas!

If u gona cary and u want something light and small get the ruger lcp , lcr or lc9

THisss...

Ive got the LCR .357 Magnum and the shit is only 17 oz and u can even throw it in some basketball shorts and be str8 - the LCP is even smaller and more concealable

Other than that I HIGHLY recommend any of the SW M&P series compact pistols especially the M&P40c super light and carries a nice caliber for personal protection :)

Glocks of course live up to their name of quality and durability although i hate how they feel in my paws lol

My suggestion is goto a gunshop and feel a shitload of guns in ur hand or shoots some friends guns to get an idea of what u want... U'll know its the right gun once it sits in ur hand

www.budsgunshop.com when u decide on what u want for the lowest price (bought many guns/rifles and never a problem and always atleast $50-$100 under most stores)

i personally prefer the 1911 they are verry relyable and easy to maintain

Me too although the only ones that can be easily concealed are the kimber ultra carry and they are like $1200. I don't own a glock, but having said that they are one of the cheapest and most reliable in most people's opinion. The only advice I can give you is get something with great stopping power (like a 40 or 45) and make sure it is easily concealable. Good luck
