Project: No Homo V2.0

I've shared this on a few miata sites, might as well share this with you guys as well! Seeing as she is going to be a drift slut!

So I bought this car from a friend for 550 because he couldn't afford to keep replacing stuff trying to figure out what was wrong with it.

So I swooped her up for a parts/project car.

Pics the day I got her (shitty cell phone pics)

But today kicked off the start to project no homo v2.0 I'm done messing with the red miata. Because I need it to get to and back from work. All thats left for her is coilovers/wheels. Then I'm leaving her alone other than maint. and making her look a little nicer.

So pics from todays progress.

I also had the day off Tuesday, but sadly no pictures.

Progress made that day was
- cleaned drivers side
- remove some surface rust from under brake master/booster
- remove break master cylinder

These things are pretty sweet, but it looks like you're doing too much work. Just weld the diff and ride out. Also, we got the same badass rimzz.

Ya it might be a bit over kill.

But I want her to look just as good as she performs.

Wire tuck is costing me nothing but time, and 10 bucks for 25' of wire loom. So I think I can live with that, cause I have plenty of time on the weekends while I save for parts. And when the girlfriend is at work.

Also this car is working as the 'trial' car, cause eventually everything I do to this car, is going to be done to the red on in the back round. So if I fuck something up on this one, no biggy. I know what not to do when I move on to the other car.

Progress from last weekend, forgot to update the thread here.

So I did some work today, got a late start due to some rain early this morning. But I'm more than happy with the progress!

How shes started out this morning around 12pm

My friend didn't do a very good job cleaning her while he had ownership, and I also find a nice present hidden behind the dash.

Got to this point around 2pm, after a few small breaks too

After gettting all the carpet out, I found some rust that doesn't look like it's eaten to far into the floor. I'll find out more about that either tomorrow, or next weekend.
*Fingers crossed*

Got the harness pulled through on both the driver and passenger side. Along with getting the brake booster, and clutch master out of the bay.

Which led to the cabin looking like this.

And that was all the progress for the day. Oh and this is what my yard looked liked all day
