ok so here it goes i have a 90 coupe sr'd mods blah blah blah ive been slideing for like 8 months and ok i guess. im kinda done with the whole s-chassi shit. i wanna get a z32 and yes an n/a one because i cant afford a tt. i was wondering if there ok cars and how much it will cost to make it a ok slideing car and be able to keep it as a dd. i would probably get another s13 in the future but i just really want one idk why.lol no negiive comments if u spelled shit wrong oh well i dnt have spell check.

I dont have one, but I researched it when I went through a I want a z32 phase... They are kinda of heavy compared to an s13.. weighing in up to 3500lbs depending on options, there was a guy on nico who got his down to about 3100 but it was a non t-top(RARE) and gutted, good read, look for the thread. in NA your power is kinda limited but ive seen 210+hp with just headers/exhaust/intake/tune, plenty for sliding.. Very solid cars.. its a nissan/parts whore, pretty much everything fits.. your SR would fit, I thought about dumping mine in an z32, would probably fit better since the bay is a clusterfuck..

2-4k for a clean NA
1K in engine upgrades
1k coils(?)

theres a few guys sliding them here, maybe they will chime in with more info... for the same price as a z32 you could be in a E36... less weight and much more baller..

Don't listen to anyone but the following people. NismoTuner21 or Mongoose or however he spells his name. PM either one of those guys. They have been fucking around with those cars for a while. They will be able to help you the most.

thanks man yea cuz i just really want another one i had a 90 na 5 speed and it was ok. i actually wanna make it hellafulsh status and just slam it on some coils and just hard park and still slide a bit.

its the same crap as sliding any other car.. gas brake steer just some cost more to repair and upgrade parts and are easier or harder to get use to

^lol and yeah the fucking guy backed out of the deal so now im back with the s13 and when i said details on slideing them i ment how different is it than sliding a s13

Z32 is WAY heavier than an s13, transitions become difficult... sals (nismotuner 21) is nice i have driven it, but him and mongooze slide there z's pretty well, they are definately not as easy as a s13... but it doesnt seem to be a big deal to you.

but nismotuner21 and mongooze are the only ones here that really will be able to give good info!

Ok, well I'm not gonna lie, Z32's are not as easy to slide as an S-chassis... But, the only thing I feel holds a Z back... STEERING ANGLE!! Z32's have the same plague FC's have, but with 1000 lbs more, lol. Nothing tie rod spacers or modded knuckles can't fix. I don't really find transitions hard, and it's not because of the car per say, I think a 2-way would make things wayyy easier. But you'll have to talk to mong00ze about that, he has a welded diff in his Z. Besides those two thing's I don't see what really sets a Z back. SPL's race car only weighs about 2500 lbs... So you CAN make a Z pretty light. And if you think about it, you spend a little less on a Z. You don't really need to upgrade, it comes with the brakes, BMC, 5 lug, LSD blah blah blah that everyone who has an S-chassis has to upgrade, lol. So you don't have to worry about fucking with any of that stuff. All I can say is drivetrain wise with this car if you plan on keeping the VG. Is to do it RIGHT! They don't like shortcuts. And all people ever talk about is how hard it is to work on them... It's really not. We pulled my motor out in 3.5 hours, took EVERYTHING except longblock from the old motor and put it on the new one, and but it back in the next day.

Quick clip of my forum buddy Edgar, it's a stock ass VG, only mods are exhaust, coilovers, and some other suspension stuff. Mind you, he's on 19x10's with sticky 255 tires, lol.

.

Sooo sexy

I actually thought about that when I blew my old motor! lol. A few Z guys have done it with success... But if I'm gonna hack my chassis up I'd rather do a 1JZ or RB25 for about the same price.

Get this.

Looks super clean and is a fresh, unfucked with start. And it's a 90 N/A, so it's the lightest version besides a slicktop Z. Get coilovers, a 2-way, tie rod spacers, and a bucket seat, with that you should be killin it. Super wide wheels wouldn't hurt either :)

heavy cars can slide, tons of heavy 4 door cars kill it in Japan. a few in the states but it is all in suspension and driving ability.

I don't see why people bitch about the weight that much though... A slicktop Z weighs less than a 350Z. And 350Z's drivetrain weighs a nice amount less. So if you want light get a VQ or LS1. With either of those motors and very light weight reduction you could probly be at just around 3000 lbs.

im 18 and ive already owned a na z32 and it was fun i sucked at sliding back then but besides that nisomtuner21 your car made me jizz in my pants for 1 and 2 thank u for not being a dick and telling me go f ur self info really thanks for the info it helps its nice to see non haters on this site. i got fucked over on a deal and im really upset i didnt get that z32 but im still going to be looking for one,

Lol, no problem man. The Z32 really is a great car, I'm actually 19 and on my third one, lol. First was a 93 N/A 2+2, sold it for a 91 TT, then that got rear ended so I bought this car as an N/A and TT swapped it
