So ive been making phone calls trying to find a good machine shop to do my head
cylinder head exchange wants $250 off the bat, fuck that
a lot of the other shops say they need to completley take it apart to give me an estimate, and charge me just for taking it apart. All the other shops either dont know anything about SR's or want too much and say they need to take the whole thing apart to give me an estimate
cylinder head depot seems legit, they test and guarentee theyre heads before finishing the job, they gave me a ball park of $150 to $200, and they said i could bring it by for them to take a look at it and give a better estimate without taking it apart and charging me. Anybody had experience with them?
precision R&R said it would be around $100, seems pretty cheap, they said if i took it by they could look at it without taking it apart. These guys are definatley the cheapest so far, but i just wanted to ask if anyones dealt with them or have heard good or bad experiences with them?
