hey thats my B-Day aug 3, this ones gona be hard to get my girl to let me go, hey can i drift for free as a b-day gift from SFL......:bigthumbu:bigthumbu:bigthumbu:bigthumbu
 
i dont know if i'll be there by then and i dont know if my car would be ready but just in case i was curious because i dont see it listed in the tech inspection list do verts have to have a roll bar to run??

are you sure im not gonna get there and there gonna be like "no your parent has to sign a waiver to allow you to blablabla" since im 16?
 
they are going to be doing it at night? did they install a light post or something?

if anything i only want to do like 2-3 runs or what i can get on a set of tires. (if i do it, it will be my first event driving)

is the track as rough as everyone is saying the skidpad is?

i have my tires that are on the car right now which are almost bald, and then when there gone, i have some used tires with maybe 50% tread that im going to put on and maybe drift them till there like 30% which is still better than the bald tires i have on right now, and then im done

will that last me through the event? or will i be done after like 3 runs or somthing


ive never done this before so idk what to expect as far as how far the tires are gunna wear down
 
shit haha well i have three tires but the thing stoping me is that extra 10 bucks for the third tire change

i wish it was like $8 or somthing instead of 10

im open diff tho, so one tires gonna take more abuse than the other, unless the turns are dead even between left and right turns, so im thinking right before my most worn tire is almost done, i can switch the right and left rears and maybe get an extra run out of that? or will that be pointless
 
they will last.. the people who go throught tires often are the advance guys... the beginners tend to not waste tires as much... as long as you font start doing donuts, or take off like a badass to then slow down at the first turn, you will be cool...
 
first timer here so ill be straight then, and if theres enough room to get speed then i wont need to launch

i know i asked already but nobody answered, and i dont wanna drive down there for no reason

being 16 are they gonna make my parents sign a waiver or somthing, or will i be straight?

also, what if i dont have a catch can? my cars bone stock in healthy condition and i fixed the small oil leak on the front main seal so i think it should be fine

are they still gonna let me slide?
 
as long as you have seat belts, all lugs and nuts, battery secured, no leaks, helmet you should be fine. also i do think one of your parent needs to sign the waiver.
