Power Steering High Pressure Hose

I just dropped in a 98 KA in my 91 s13 and got it running perfect. Only problem is that my power steering high pressure hose has a leak. So i asked the guy at advance auto parts if they have replacements and they do but he told me that the high pressure hose from a 91 is different than the hph from a 98. So do i need the 91 hose or a 98 since i have a 98 KA?

the pump is in the same place right.dothey look the same? last i checked a ka pump is a ka pump so get a 91 hose.

they are different because the 95-98 hoses come with the hardline attached to the high pressure line as one piece where the 90-94 come with just a high pressure line that screws into the hardline off the rack. in reality, the smartest thing to do to any 240 with a dohc KA/SR20 is replace your crappy 20yr old line with a 95-98 high pressure line from Napa for 70$.
