pop up light replacements?

ok
i want brighter headlights!!
i am thinkin HIDs... 4300K or something around there.
i have sealed factory headlamps at the moment ..
i would like to know what are good replacement H4 conversions out there that are relatively cheap.. and will work with HIDs

i know this may have been coverd.. but plz giv ur opinion.

i heard hella, bosch but there close to 100 bux!
anything cheaper?

your light output will only be as good as the housing you buy. there is a reason hella, raybrig, ect are expensive. dont cheap out on something like lighting. buy decent housings and you will thank youself later.
 
i really like HIDs
they light the whole road..
i know the sylvanias silverstars are good but to me its not bright enough still..
 
if you go HID's you need to retrofit your housings with HID projectors or a real xenon kit (600+$$$)otherwise Glare = nasty and you can get tickets if the cop wants to be an asshole.
 
yea .. well i know it depends on the housings i use.
but i really dont want to retrofit. and also the cut off on some housings like hella and cibie are made with decent cut off .. not as clean as projectors off course but its not that bad

600 is a bit of an overestimate.

HIDPlanet sells complete OEM HID kits for high 300s. All you would need after that is some type of new pop up housing or retrofit your current one. I know ive seen new pop up housings go for super cheap too..

Seriously though, if your going to go HID, you need to do it right. Those HID bulbs are crap and HID kits are crap too. OEM HID or bust..
