oh shit thats one hell of single slammer!!

KA24E is a awesome engine using pistons from a KA24DE will bump you to a 11:1 comp ratio it's a great engine in general and people sell them so cheaply :( thinking there a bad engine from the start

highest I've ever heard was a 13:5.1 comp ratio KA24E

I love my single cam... Bitch gets down just as good as any DOHC

VALLEJO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

V-TOWN BITCHES!!!!

WHATCHA KNOW ABOUT E-40 AND THE CLICK!!!

Holy Awesome, that's where I grew up in high school, I'm so happy right now.

Those are fucking awesome cars!!

Nissan had a book to build the Single Cam to I think 200-250hp by just buying parts out of their catalogue, naturally aspirated. It's not too bad I guess.

more info on 13:5.1 compression on ka24e?

and making around i would guess 330hp

The ones i posted though are fully built race engines all N/A which need a complete teardown and rebuild once every 500 miles.

EDIT: even if it was a SR20DET it needs a turbo these KA24E race engines are making 385hp all motor, well more to 340hp because SCCA won't allow 50MM carb ITB's I wanna see a SR20DE lay down those numbers in N/A form

EDit again: the KA is also oversqaure so a square KA would lay down ALOT more power maybe around 400hp because it would be a perfect square

now i am all in favor of the ka but how is a ka that needs to be rebuilt after every 500 miles better then a sr which problably doesnt need to be rebuilt after every 500 miles?
