Oil Starvation... FTL

I havent ripped the block apart yet - but the noise went away immediately as the spark was removed - not sure what scorching consists of
 
negative - never had anything like this happen
First time motor was rebuilt - broke a rocker arm - no serious damage - built just for kicks
 
that blows, so you figure the damaged rod bearing shards clogged the oil squirters? good luck with the repair. i've never done a rebuilt yet, but one is in the near future, my motor is starting to show signs of wear and tear. If you need help, holla, i would like to look inside the SR to get an idea of what i'll be doing not too far away. :bigthumbu
