NOPI Drift Champion not to return?

After chatting with Bill Sherman last week we have to make a retraction from our Issue 3. It appears he won’t be attending the NOPI Drift series this year as of right now. In fact, Bill seems to be the top finisher in Formula D (8th) without a ride for 2008. Hopefully he finds his way into a car by the end of the season. If your looking for a driver late in the game for 2008 picking up Bill Sherman is a must!

Its surprised he has not found a ride, whihch sucks for bill, he tried hard for years finally got a break and it falls apart
 
sucks for everyone....i don't even know how I am going to do all of Nopi this year because of Economy being so shitty no sponsor is doing what they did last year. And that is throw out money like nothing. Tire companies are barely sponsoring this year. :(
 
the WORST part about not making all the events is that I dont want to piss off current sponsors by missing too many, but I am same boat, no one is helping this year. Battle of the used tires.
 
Myself, Harri, Rob D, and Ryan Hanson are doing the demo. There might be more but I know that we are for sure.

**and robby bought the car off of enjuku and is supposed to be his own team now or something, but isnt going to have bill on his team.

I posted on your myspace, but I dont think id wanna drift the HGP over the NOPi this year. Seem like you only get an hour tops total of time over 3 days and there is no listing for it on saturday and like 15 minutes of it sunday

well, 2 of the people are non-licensed for NOPI so its a duh* for them.

myself, I told too many people about a nice fire system deal and ended up getting them to sell out before I had the money myself, so I dont have a firesystem so im not eligible to run NOPI yet anyways. besides its 20 min from my house, no cost to participate, and 100,000 specatators or so will see my car over the weekend. AND i get to watch some badass racing.

harri, I dunno, maybe its the fun of demo.
 
yeah Harri likes demoing alot more than competitions and also WDC is putting on the demo and Harri is one of the biggest WDC advocates plus he gets most of his Coverage on Octane so I think its a no brainer that he will do the demo instead.

Well it will be good to see you all again then. Since I havnt been out to a drift event this year. Last time i saw you was at the JDM Dreams meet.

Lets hope the Beemer is working! Last year he spent alot of time tryin to get it to tune at XAT:eek:
