Hey guys , I finally found a good and cheap s14 to buy . The guy is selling it for 5,200 it seems to be in good condition from the picture i saw but i pray everything else goodto . Im going to check out this Saturday with my mom and her mechanic friend to see if its good, im so freaking nerves !!! There is one set back though its an auto but atleast its an SE so itll have the lsd. What do you guys that are pros at buying cars say is the most imporant stuff to check for when buying a car since this itll be my first outing and im a total noob? And also how much is 5 speed tranny worth and installation as well? :D
 
there are cheaper S14s on autotrader that are 5sp and good condition ?? lower mileage isnt always a good thing on any sports car. just FYI.
 
5200 is not that cheap no especially not automatic
..but i have seen a trend growing towards higher prices on 240's(because the popularity of rwd or drifting or soon to be corny movies)
but i have seen these cars start going for a little more than when i bought my 96 base 5spd for 4000 i have been offered 5350 at a light once.
 
Well im not planning on paying 5200, my budget is 4500 and im not going to past it. The reason its an auto is my mom is more likly to buy it then if it was a manuel im still trying to convince her for a manuel but she aint budging :(
 
paid 3500 for my car when i bought it it was automatic and had 79k miles, with paper for all the services done by nissan. It was in alot better condition then it is now.

i would never pay more then book value for anything

dose teh car need a title? lol
