Nitrous

dude just make sure you have enough fuel for the nos. And make sure you dont over spray. The KA has been known to have a strong block but a weak head and this is opposite for the SR. So if you really want to spray i would say invest some money into serious headwork. Then focus on the block like sleeving the cylinders and finding a way to strengthing the main caps. You also want to then upgrade the whole rotating assembly. Its alot of money if really want to spray alot. Honestly it would be cheaper and a lot more fun to turbo the KA. And even though the NOS kit maybe cheaper, its not cause you have to do all those refills and its like $50 a bottle. Boost > NOS

yea with all the money i spent on refilling the bottle i could of afforded to turbo my car.. 45 bucks almost everytime adds up.. but if u really want spray then do it right.

as simple as throwing on a bolt on turbo kit.

??? bolt on Nitrous kits still require a lot of research...jets, timing, fuel. I also would never run a nitrous kit without an activation switch, window switch and a WOT switch.... just to be safe

yep i would always drive with my bottle turned off unless i new i was going to use it and i had a arm switch, and a activation switch witch i controled from a button in my hand.. MAKE SURE U DONT MISS SHIFT!

wow man, you got it all wrong. hes not building a rocket ship...strengthin the main caps??? how about the KA rods that turn into a pretzel at the first sign of detonation??? And all of these things can break with boost as well, what im trying to say is that both setups have their pros and cons...bottom line, boost=money, but is good for drifting. nos=$30 refills an a 10lb bottle not $50. I doubt this guy is going to drift on nitrous and it will prolly get used on the weekends and only for straight line racing. So if he does some research before installation the he will get exactly what he was looking for, a little extra power when he needs it.

MAKE SURE U DONT MISS SHIFT!

ive been there, and as funny as it sounds, i blew my intake manifold off. it was on a 4cyl S10.:bigthumbu

seriously man? why even post? i am not a person who gets annoyed easily but you annoy me for some reason...

i drift and i shoot nitrous.....yes at the same time...i have 2 10lbs bottles and its $25 bucks to refill them. $40 for my old 20lbs bottle...no i dont have a hook up and if you dont plan drifting events with $$ then you shouldnt be drifting...if spending an extra $50 bucks is a "hassle" for you then why are you modding your car?

honestly $50 bucks flys when your preparing for a drift event.... you can considering as extra expendatures.

understandable but usually some "kits" come made for a specific car or in a universal form ( which most usually are). but just like turbos even a kit you need to know boost, timing and fuel.

and you have to have an activation switch....you would kill you motors cs the moment you turn that knob nitrous flows....

damn i was getting ripped so bad then my 10lb bottle cost me close to 40-45
