Nick Hogan Confirmed for XDC 2010 with Nissan 350z

dude just imagine what you would go through if one of your family members was left permanently damaged due to someone else actions and afterwards seemed to have no true remorse about it. if i did that to someone it would kill me. i wouldnt wish the same fate upon someone that showed remorse about the event, however he got a slap on the wrist and couldnt give a shit less about what happened. Fuck him and i think he deserves the same fate.

that money he gets from his "charity" should go straight to john. dont pass go and sure as hell shouldnt go to nicks drifting dream

have you been on the kiott website. its not just nick who partakes in the organization. all proceeds from the national wave and kiott teams go straight to the j and j recovery fund and other national wave charites. http://www.keepitonthetrack.org/KIOTT_html/AboutUs.html

this whole thing with nick hogan all depends on your view. yea nick shouldnt have been driving like an ass and his buddy should of been wearing a seat belt. both were at fault not just nick.

wear your seatbelt. if u dont, then u get whats coming to you. he would have been fine if he had it on.

good thing he has a spare track car.

i'm am sorry, but wearing his seatbelt or not would not change his current health state.

i will admit, i never wear my seatbelt. thats my decision, but i dont drive like an ass hat either. ever.

i wear my seatbelt at the track because its required and your partaking in a dangerous activity. i am one person who belive's seat belt's don't always save lives.

sometime's it will help, most of the time no. in an extremely dangerous crash or one caused from a high rate of speed it's a decision of fate, not a safety belt.

No you can not even consider driving and raping comparible. He was going fast just like any of the retards on here that street drift and crash their cars and make threads about it the next day. Of course it is unbelievably sad what happened to his friend, but he was also not wearing his seatbelt and knew he was at risk in a powerful car. At least he is going in the right direction now

i agree.. it could have happen to any of the retards that street slide over here without thinking of the consequences... also we were or are all young and have done the stupidity of street race.. the problem was he actually is a celebrity. that could have happen to anybody.

Are you freaking kidding me? Unless you have been in a car wreak this bad how would you know if you were to survive with or without the seatbelt? For the most part trying to justify yourself by saying " I dont drive like an idiot and i dont wear my seatbelt unless I am at the track" is the type of attitude that ends up getting people in trouble in the first place. Lets not forget the fact that it is illegal. I rather take the chance of wearing a seatbelt and walk away with belt burn and maybe a fracture or few bones broken and live than possibly not walking away at all.

yea im pretty sure seatbelts are a big issue in the original crash. what I'm not 100% sure on is that the sponsor organization picked a driver to work with BASED on his celebrity status and NOT his prior personal philosophy. KIOTT having a driver who has destroyed a life while street-racing = you're doing it wrong?

i'd actually feel BETTER if the whole thing was nick's idea rather than one he is just representing. I really don't see the logic from the companies pov.

its also kind of funny that he is 'doing this as privateer, out of his own pocket'... he really shouldn't have and money since they owe john's family so much, but hulk is covering that i guess. its not like he had to just build the car, it was already built 2 years ago and im sure his pockets can do the travel part of it np.

I'll be interested to see what other partners jump on his car.

You must be a little retarded. 3 of my friends were in a huge accident Sunday morning. The two that died were not wearing their seatbelts, weird...?

going to have to agree no one forced him to get in to that car. dont put your self in a situation where you might get hurt. he got in there knowing what was going to happen it was tragedy yes. but nick is still going to drive no matter what any body on this forum says. and im 100% while he slides that z hes not caring one bit about the people hating on him so continue to hate

wow your a ruh tard. Seatbelts do save lives.. i was in an accident back in 04 or 05 in my friends srt4, we hit a guard rail at 130 mph.. if it wasn’t for the seatbelt i would have been ejected from the car and more than likely would have died because of it, thank god i walked away with minor injuries.

What tickles my pickle is that we have all these people in here that are apart of Safety Drivers of America, and tell us what happen in the crash, how it could have been avoided and explaning there life stories. This thread is about how Nick is coming back to the scene not what SFLD thinks about the accident.

correct

^^yea, but a lot of people have negative feelings towards him coming back to the scene BECAUSE of the accident, so its a pretty valid part of the discussion in my point of view.

If his whole thing is "keeping it on the track" now or whatever, then what is he actually doing to help? Is he just keeping himself on the track? or does he actually want to do something to help everyone based on his experience? I don't know whether to believe he is putting on an act so people like him and let him drive or if he really wants to help.
