New Wheels/fitment/baller

Its about time, but I'm getting some more badass wheels, secret for now but...

with front 30mm overs
17 or 18x9 +5 235/40

rear with 30mm overs
17 or 18x10 +0 275/35

seem like it would be flush right?
currently I run
18x8 +25 with stock fenders
18x9.5 +25 with rolled (but unused) fender space

i did quite a bit of searching and reading, but smack me and tell me what I'm doing wrong.

With that offset how much camber you running in the front? If so you might not need to get the overfenders for the front, just pull it out and seeing that your not worried about your car being slammed to the floor it gives you the clearance from the fender.

sorry i missed it, your new wheels would stick out

front 33mm further out
rear 31mm further out

with those tire sizes id say they would be pretty much square on the rim, so you should be good with the widebody, sounds like a winner to me, just make sure you fit the widebody after you get the wheels because if you need more clearance you can bow them out.

yea thats how I came up with the offsets + 30mm overs was the calculator thing. I'll let more people chime in before I get anything, but seems like +0 all around might be what will work.

this is also what i calculated.

we'll calculate for this: 18x8 +25 with stock fenders
i calculate it by figuring out how far the edge of the rim is from the hub.
1inch = 25.4mm, at zero offset the edge of the rim is 4 inches from the center line(hub) 4x25.4=101.6mm but its got +25offset so it moves it back 25mm so 101.6-24=76.6mm. 76.6mm is the distance from hub to outer edge.
do the same calculation for the new wheels and you get 109.3mm that is a movement of about 33mm outwards. (109.3-76.6=32.7mm)

too much thinking,
get the wheels, and then go from there jason.

i run a 17x9 +3 with a 30mm fender upfront, which i still used like 10mm spacers to sit flush with a -3.0 camber

and in the rear, i run 18x10 -1 with 30mm fender with no spacer, and -2.0 camber

isnt 275 a little too much for 230 hp? i mean when the tire width number exceeds the hp number thats kinda sad.:( lol

yes this is plans for the future. i wouldn't go this big without more boom boom behind it.

well id rather not run a spacer and if im going to get wheels and overs, might as well make it fit right. i dont know how close the s14/s13 fitments are either for the comparison.

id get -10 if i need, guess i need to research more tomorrow

s14 are a little bit wider, but u can run s14 LCA arms and get a little more offset to sit more flush. but in the front, im only running a 10mm slip on with long studs, and no spacers in the rear. i run 245/40 or 255/40/35 on the rear(18x10). i dont know how low u plan on going, but im tucking a 245 just fine. in the front, im running a 235/40 on a 17x9.

with a 275 in the rear, with 30mm fender would fit, but u cant tuck tire, and gotta do a big quarter cut.

the main question is, how low, do u want to go :naughty:
