Can you do the same with a Facebook page? Yes, but it wouldn't be quite the same. How does the site suck? Does it suck because it's a simple and easy-to-use website? Does it suck because it provides a good resource for auto enthusiasts to find events in one central place rather than scattered across the internet?

Please, if you're going to say that something 'sucks', please cite sources and/or provide a reason why. Perhaps your input can be used to improve the site or make it more functional :)
