about how much would it cost to get through customs? i mean even if you buy a car for 3 grand and it turns up being like 10 its still a decent deal.
 
its nice to look at but i would not buy a car online....simple as that.....plus u guys are not even factoring in everything....it takes alot more money to pass customs (both places) get it here safely and in working order and get it registered and insured....after all of that I assure it wont be cheap anymore
 
from my research customs is not an issue at all.. buying those cars and shipping them here is not the issue either.. the only PITAs is the EPA and DOT.. heres a quick run down after the car is imported....

-schedule safety and smog appointments (with authorized dealers ONLY)..
-then inspection costs + conversion costs..

and meanwhile storage fees and towing flees pile up like a muthafucker.. thats the shyt you dont see.. google "Independent Commercial Importers".. i was quoted about 7500 to completely import and convert my beater..

wow.. i actually contributed.. lmao.. i forgot to mention 'Power of Attorneys'.. they are documents that authorize someone to temporarily own your shyt..

also i think thats why there are REAL 180's in the states.. i imagine rich people imported them back in the day and they were handed down to our gen..
