New Intro 3D

This is just a minimal edit 3d idea I was going to use for my next drift video. This is very preliminary.

I have no affiliation with Last Stance and I asked ahead of time for permission to use SFLDrifters.

HD link should be up soon. whenever its processed.

Made using Cinema 4d and Houdini.
Edited in Sony Vegas and a little of After Effects.

Sometimes simple is the best bet bro. To me that 3D thing is just over complicating something that could look better with something simple.

It honestly was something I learned recently inside Houdini, which is a fucking retarded complex program.

I plan on taking out the meta. It was just an idea I had. And I agree. Too much.

I literally had all the logos already and was just trying to make something.

I want to do something similar, but will opt out on the meta.

Not his best videos but he's been working with that already

Coming from a digital media background & perspective... it was way too long for a simple 3d intro, the text did not match the bubble feel and the colors all clashed.

Try sticking to the same colors and incorporating the text into the bubble a little more.

P.S. Ryan was a friend of mine and we raced together for my shop bimmerworks, do the avatar justice.

cool I didn't know you put Last Stance in there haha. I'm very supportive of anything creative, it was a great concept but like BSaint said, it was a tad too long, colors did clash, and font selection could of been more appealing.

Just try to be more flashy/stylish in your approaches, the majority of 3d intros tend to be short blips that flow with the dynamics of the audio behind it. You just started and I'm sure there's a lot of great things to expect from you soon! :driving:

Try downloading more fonts, so you have a wide selection to choose from.

Very cool idea. If i do say though, I'm not very intrigued by the blob effect. As Bleak said though, You just started, and I'm sure theres a lot of great things to except as experience is gained!

Keep it up. :bigthumbu

Yeah, I literally have this problem of obsession with what im learning. I learn new shit at school and have to do something with it. Its annoying. I just get all sorts of ideas. Granted this one wasn't that good. but hey.

Its just cool to open a complex program and know what the buttons do, lmao.

I've honestly learned triple what I knew just in the month of me making this.

Thanks for the constructive criticism guys, and thanks bsaint.

EDIT: I wasn't trying to bump this from the dead, I honestly just realized someone commented on it.

Theres too much going on for my taste, reminds me of when the show Mun2 had just come out. Hudini is a cunt program, also I think simple = better.

I use realflow for fluids and gas sims, so the goo looks pretty damn good. :bigthumbu but does not match. Work out a color pallet first so you can get the base color issue in order. Then work on the idea.

Keep at it man, rarely does one make a good product on the first try, for me its like the 3-4th time lol
