To start off thats understandable, gain experience. Well, then sell me the cressida for cheap ;). Oh and ftw(for the win) is a positive thing to say.

Its a popular choice b/c its light weight, well balanced (in all facets), has a good suspension layout, and tons of cheap aftermarket.

S-chassis are great drift cars b/c of these, not the other way around. No more excuses for your cars.

i have a manual clutch pedal and master and slave from my supra that bolts into a cressida. Trust me your not gonna be able to sell a cressida with a blown motor for enough money to get a 1j or 2j swap. your gonna fall way way short. you would at most if its really clean get like 1500 for it. 1j swap your gonna spend 4-5K to have a running car(thats motor tranny and all the other shit you need) and a 2j open you wallet and bend over. chris jackson has a 2j 240 and he has about 20,000 into it. Its not really worth it.

as for your original question the hachi can keep up with a 240 because of driver talent and just shear size of the drivers balls. Cause when your trying to keep up in a hachi your full throttle the entire time thats where "never lift" comes from. Just cause someone can drift a 240 dosnt mean they can drift a 86. driftings not about huge hp numbers its more driver then anything.

1. if u wanna go bang for buck. go for s13/s14.
2. if u wanna be different/ 4dr drift FTW!
it all depends on ur pockets.. if u pick something difficult w low pockets.. ill take u for ever! and may not be soo good.

well then here another question..wats better....an s13 or s14...and if its the s13...coupe or hatch??? becuase i wat thinkin i could try to get a nice coupe traded for my sc..would dat be good...

well if depends on what you like? the style? do u like the s14? the s13 coupe? or hatch? s14 seems to go a lil more on price. then the s13 coupe. and lastly hatch.. y trade your SC? keep that as a dayli.. ur gonna need it.

depending on how nice you sc is you could probobly trader straight up for a fully built SR s13 or a mildly built s14 probobly sr powered also. all s chassis are pretty much the same they all slide themselves for the most part. people will argue all day which s13 is better coupe or hatch. I personaly own a coupe but i never see coupes in junk yard i only see hatchs. all you really need to drift in a s chassis is coilovers, a diff (LSD or welded), a good clutch and good brakes. just make sure to maintain it well. Id def recomend keeping one of the cars as a daily driver cause your gonna break your drift car weither it be parts failing, blowing a motor, or hitting the wall it happens so be prepared.

well i i would like to get a s13 coupe but i have no money..lol(17 year old,jus started working at gamestop) so i jus wanna trade for something already driftable...i found a guy willing to trade his s13 coupe for my sc but his ac is gone, radio is gone, and carpet is gone....jus sems like im downgrading you know??

carpet is overrated, a stereo is cheap, and ac is a easy fix

if your 17 then how the hell did you get a sc400 let me guess your parents

yea...lol....they bought it for me for my birthday but its completly stock... honestly all i want to do is race or drift and lexus maintainance is just TOO much $$$...so im thinking i should go the 240 way..

why do you want to race or drift? can you drive stick?

oh and 240sx is the most popular car for a reason.. it's platform performance and affordability outweighs any other vehicle by 99.9%

i kno how to drive stick...i just thought that with the sc's v8...theres not so much you can do but supercharge it and i HATE superchargers...lol...i've always wanted a turboed car so i'd rather have an sr20det..oh yea!! and whats better..redtop or blacktop??

lolz. bro sireously. ur best bet rite now is search! search ! search! u can go on google and search red top vs black top! and y u worried about that now? theres tons of other stuff u would need b4 a swap for drifting. aka diff. suspension. reliable?
