Hey i know this is a long shot but does anyone have a pair of S13 (or S14 if theyre the same) rear coilovers lying around that i can borrow to see if they mount on my car? I was working on my friends 240 the other day and i noticed the rear suspension looked exactly like my Zs (rear trailing arms) and since theres no coilovers available for my car i want to see if S13/14 coilovers will mount in my car. Im not gonna keep the coilovers or damage them, if they dont bolt right in im not gonna try and make them and im not gonna drive with them. Just wanna see if i can use S13/14 coilovers so i can buy my own pair. Thanks in advance!

M30's use Semi trailing arms similar to the S30, so it might work
yeah thats what i thinking...i put in my Tokico shocks and springs more than a year ago so i forgot exactly how my rear is but i think the the three stud top mount comes off. So i was thinking if the S13s 2 stud top mount comes off too i can just place my 3 stud one on the coilovers spring and bam! done. If not, ill just drill 2 new holes in the shock tower and mount it, is that what the M30 method is? oh and I have a S130 (2nd gen 280Zx), S30s I think have a different kind of rear suspension, but i do know i have a rear semi trailing so i should be good. Thanks for the info BTW

Shane: youre a little too far for me bro, but thanks for the offer :bigthumbu

yes, ive done it, make sure you measure right

excellent, and the shock tower metal is the same thickness all over? So drilling two new holes wont make it warp or bend under stress? No need to weld extra sheets of metal or anything? thanks
