well the car is running weird. i changed a few things on it to make sure if they were causing rhe problem. didnt work

i replaced the:
spark plugs
oil
oil filter
got rid of the 3 year oldish gas and put new gas in

it stalls alot still. it starts then after about 30 seconds or less it just shakes itself to death. even if i push the gas when its about to stall it still stalls.

what could be the problem

is this car a 240 ?

if so if its dieing while its idiling it could be a vacum line, are you able to rev it after you start it or dose it just kinda bog ?
 
sounds stupid but i had the same problem when building my sr. after the swap it had all the same symptoms. turns out my plug to the ecu was a little more flexible that it should be and i tightened the little bolt in the middle down too hard bending the sides of the plug up just a little bit. that is where all the connections for the injectors are on one side and some other important things on the other. i loosened it half a turn and viola, she ran. i don't know tho, something to look at if you've ever unplugged your ecu.

otherwise, is it missing at all? does it sound like it fires on all four cylinders? check the spark on your plugs. they may be new but if they're shorted out somewhere that would cause a miss. pull one out and see if it sparks, then the next etc. don't shock your self. i'm not responsible for your health, lol! then check your injector connections with a noid light. go to advanced autoparts, its cheap there. its a light that plugs into your injector plugs and lights up when it fires. or do the ear to screwdriver to plug thing and listen to see if its firing.

the idea is that engines use 3 things, air, fuel, and ignition system. if any of that isn't working properly, your engine will run like shit or not at all. after checking all of the above let us know! good luck

its a 93 ka24de. ill take a video so you can see whats going on.

never mind. i figured out the problem. it was in front of my face the whole time

theres a box right across from the MAF and it was sucking in all the air causing it to run rough and stall..fixed :D
