I'm lowering my s13 and the threaded body seems to be frozen on the lower mount, I can't get it to twist to adjust. I soaked it in pb blaster, used the wrenches to grab the lock nut against the coil perch and I only got it to twist maybe a quarter of an inch. It's not bent anywhere where it might be squeezing, it won't budge. K sports on the rear. Any suggestions I'm open I need this done tonight, thanks

I had the same problem with my meghans, for some reason they froze. I ended up soaking it, then I took it off and put it on a vice, then got at it with the wrenches.

Soaking it in anything specific? And I don't have a vice but I'm using it still loosely attached to the car to make sure it doesn't spin and spinning it with the wrenches and no luck

Wd 40, oil penetrant, it was a bitch to do leave it attached since u don't have a vice try. Worst comes to worst try some bf pliers, and the wrenches

What I did is with the big fucking plier I grabbed the shock( the black tube that's threaded) but high so that when u adjust it won't interfere and then I got at it with the wrench, it fucked up the thread but it was the only way it was moving, plus wince I grabed it really high with the bf pliers it doesn't interfere at all when I adjust height. Hopes this helps

i was gonna try that too but the only big pliers i have are my channel locks and i seem to have missplaced them... but im gonna go try and beat on it some more and see what i can do, thanks guys, any more ideas?

get a blunt object like a punch and try hammering it loose. i tried the screwdriver trick and neary cut one off the teeth off my perch. also make sure you have everything all the lock nuts loose. also try going in the opposite direction you are trying and then cleaning things up the spot were it got stuck at
