need help asap!!

i have a 92 ka
ill turn the car on and itll sputter for a minute and then stall on neutral!!

if i quickly try to rev it, the rpms just go up and down when i have it floored
and it doesnt run for shit

i think its the maf sensor but im not sure
now im thinking its the connection

help?

its that when i disconnect the maf sensor it runs good but doesnt rev past 2500rpm but when i connect it
it just dies

Throw a MAF and a TPS at it (I would say MAF first since what you mentioned above...shouldn't cost you much, or find a friend with a 240 and use his parts to test them out). Good luck, it's hard to diagnose over the internet without seeing the car personally.

i tottalled the last one because some drunk dumbass decided to jump a curve and t-bone me
and when they look at the car they said the suspension was completly gone

if its not a maf or tps problem, your fuelpump or fuelpump wiring might me messed up. my buddys miata's fuel pump had its wires corroted and i had similer problems

yea but i check the maf sensor wirring and its missing a prong and a cable

just replace maf,tps and check your fuel pump(that happened to me), and make sure of no huge vacuum leaks and while your at it u should change your spark plug wires & spark plugs if u haven't in the last 6-8 months.
