N60 Maf

its good for like 200hp or something idk i cant remember.. the z32 turbo mafs is better by a lot though. or just go with real tuning and forget about MAFS :bigthumbu

if your car needs a mafs and its the onyl one you have use it if it'll run, i wouldnt use it as a performance upgrade, its same as the s14 stock mafs almost

I hope your joking. MAF definitely has advantages over MAP and to some (like myself) the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. If i were more comfortable with tuning on my own I might have gone MAP but I like the idea of being able to drive anywhere and change any part without having to worry about needing a retune.

I C ok so useit...but use the z32 if u have one?

No, he's talking about getting rid of a MAF sensor and switching over to a MAP...not what you need to be concerned with right now. For you, get a Z32 MAF if you want to make over 270ish whp.

so, a stock s13 mafs is better? I think you got your numbers wrong. The n60 is almost as large as a n62. That's way better than the stock... blues guy, but dont you have a safc2? Check how much % of the mafs you are using. If it's close to 100% then change it. If not, dont worry about it.

doesnt matter how big it is, look at the z31 turbo mafs

your ecu and intake manifold are only gonna let in so much air anyway

had to take it off since my turbo crapped out on me. putting a new t28 on it and the mr mani onit. thats why i got the n60 to help with the air flow.

Ok that I know of

crank hp
N60 320hp
N62 500hp
stock dead by the time you hit 260hp

Dori is right, MAP is a problem lots of tunning that you have to be 100% sure of. I'm going to guess that you have no idea on how to tune your car, so you're looking at a minimum of $200 an hour to dyno tune which is recommended when you're tunnig your map setup. I think it's like 4hrs to tune one.

If you're planning on going anything higher than 500hp, consider a ford Cobra or lightning MAFS I believe they are rated at 600-700hp.... Anything higher then that.... Look into a Standalone and make sure you have a great paying job.

Another thing I heard something about it's not good to run the N60 mafs.... something about the signals it sends for the air. Ask Rick err 240sickness

I hope I helped

i agree with the afm numbers that ricky put up, but if u are planning anything over what a z32 can handle I would just go stand alone. Not that the stock ecu couldn't handle it, but i like map sensors more when it gets that high up in hp/tq.

well the stock sr maf is rated 280-290hp u can still get alittle more power out of a maf but its not as clean.

stock kade maf is about the same 280
