My first event and first vid....

im sorry, that music was gay! but i thought the drifting was good especially for your age.... I misread your post and thought it was your first time drifting and i was was watching and was like holy crap!
 
pretty good man... Very good for open diff more practice and you will be kicking loads of ***.
 
well actuaccly i did some things to my car before we took it to the event....besides having a fresh paint It has a 2 way lsd, intake, headers, custom pipin' all the way to the exhuast, engine bay strut bar and trunk strut bar, wires, plugs, aftermarket dual electric fans, bucket seats, steering wheel which im getting it changed now to a 350mm, and kyb adjustable shocks with eibach springs, and the inetrior stripped out...Not much but enough to let my nephew drift........he has is own 240 coupe which is getting painted this week so hopefully for the next event me and my enphew can go out with both of our cars and tandem....j/k....but yeah it's fun even though he has a step up on me......
 
get higher grip tires for the front.. and good brakes.(i just happen to have some for sale) trust me, you will be able to drive a lot better w/ confidence
 
no aand thats another thing i forgot to add,,,brakes,,,slotted and drilled a four disc with hakd brake pads....

whats very odd is how a few of the oval slides had less then 3\4 rotations of correction in them, but as soon as he went into the infeild he choked. Its odd how someone that could get around the outside oval a few times "okay" for the circumstance and not do better in the infeild. Eh i could be wrong, video wasnt dvd quaility.

boo for sticking the hand out the window then overcountersteering into a 180.

i guess keep up with the practice. and learn how to use that ebrake. its okay to grab the ebrake, save the clutch.

Brakes are cheaper than a Clutch. Easier to install also ;)
 
lol......there wasnt any clutch kicking......just second and third gear and the only reason i kept choking in the infield was becuase i did not want to mess up any of the control arms....The first car that went out there tried out the infield and within the minute messed up the control arm b'cuz of how the track was......

Yeah matt did screw up his suspension pretty good, I rode with him after he got it fixed and it was just painful. yeah if you have a good ebrake use it< i wish i had one that worked. But that will change here pretty soon im gonna be putting a fullout Hydralic e-brake in the S12 :)
 
yur pretty good man keep it up....i was unfortnate and only got to start drifitng at 18 when i got my license
