Poll Moroso or West Palm fairgrounds

OK guys/ girls need to know what you guys think. should we have an event at the west palm beach fairgrounds parking lot again or at Moroso motorsport track road course both events would be on saturday. Moroso would cost more for the drivers around $125-150 when parking lot is $100, but at Moroso there is no time loss on the cone running and we would be able to send out more than one car at a time. negative side is the time frame is only from 8 am till 4:30 pm. opinions???? post your answers so Ter-Tech will make it happen.

basically we would be using the dragstrip as starting point and run the raod course reverse only using the back end of it up to the second straight that runs along the dragstrip. We drifted (me and Tim) it today and it is awesome track to drift only problem is that it eats tires out fast

does moroso have strike rules like the ocala track ? are you estimating track time to be about the same for both? and is this for a practice or comp. Thnx

P.S. Thanks allot Harri for looking out for the SFL drift scene :bigthumbu

That was my only concern... I know from road coursing that track that it's REALLY rough.

maybe as another option... one of moroso's staging lots by the go kart track has a really nice surface and is pretty big...?????

PARKING LOT-FTW i wanna slide at this one :cross my fingers, and pray: please harri wpb parking lot forever!!!!! just keep changing track layout, moroso track is way to rough for us lowballers on the tires-money issue.

The staging lot I mentioned has a brand new, smooth as a 10 yr. old's a$$ paved surface.... LOL

Its just awesome to have more and more options these days.
I'm not to familiar with the track but hitting up a road course
is the next step for SFL. This is a good opportunity to show
sponsors to get involved and provide more events at that
venue, making it a common thing there.

Some more FYI... moroso is supposed to be completely repaving the road course and redoing the drag strip this summer.....

i would pay that difference in a heart beat just to be able to drift on that course but beucase of the backside track layout i think i would rather grip race the whole 2.25mi...idk here's a pic maybe someone can google earth it i dont have it on this laptop + its a 3/4mi trip just to get to the first turn idk lets hear some ideas i think fairgrounds is a small lot but definetly a ton of fun and tire friendly it just needs track time.

No drop down rules. going of the road is normal and OK, unless you act stupid meaning don't let of the throttle keep doing donuts at the grass. Moros won't close down till next summer. heres link to the track http://www.morosomotorsportspark.com/Newsite/Default.asp click road course. we would be using everything you see on the right of the halfway point

started a poll on the other post missed it on this one sorry about that. Roll bar on convertible cars is enforced on all of our events from now on unfortunately insuance requires it.
