Rumors have been flaring up the last few days that Chrsyler has discontinued the Nuformz/MOPAR drifting team and we just received confirmation from their PR firm that this is in fact the truth. Reports have been coming in that Shawn Carlson and the NuFormz team are currently seeking a new car, possibly to continue the new season with another OE. So I am guessing it’s safe to say we won’t be seeing that Dodge Challenger we got promised at Round 3 in Wall, New Jersey. I guess time will tell.

I was highly dissappointed with sam's driving in ATL. I always thought he looked badass on video but I think that in person it was bleh compared to other well known pros. On a faster course, with a higher speed first turn, I bet he looks better because it doesn't require a snappy entry like ATL.

They are thinking of a new car though? hmmm.... maybe they should make a AWD Skittle, and be the next rear conversion drifter. Taste the rainbow.

Chrysler has filed for bankruptcy....... This could have something to do with this.....

^^^ Here's a Kleenex, your skittle just sneezed......

The bankrupt thing would make sense except the cost of this drift car is probably about a bagillion dollars less than the cost of one of the many :

that dodge works with.

NASCAR MAIN sides usually go for 5mil+ and smaller sides (like Dodge) is typically 1-2mil...

but i dunno what the nascar deals are nor sams... still... it says they are looking for a new start so I dont think bankruptcy means 'start over and spend more money making a new car'.

I wonder how much money was dumped into the challenger that wont be used ; ;
