i just found out about it last night through a friend... im not subscibed to any of these mags, so i never know, im still wondering if any mag got converage from HIN MIAMI and if our cars made it in.

i hate when i buy a magazine and the only good feature car in there is the cover car and the others are just rubbish.

yah i know, the only good thing in there is the cover s13, the Pro AM coverage, and of course my car lol

^^ hey, thats still gonna be seen by people nationwide, plus, the name Aero-k and the website could be seen clearly, its a pretty big picture, thats all i really care about is the name getting out. you know?

No doubt, but it's still no excuse to call it a feature lol.

You guys more than anyone here should know about choosing your words carefully.

... come on guys.

If you guys are going to be talking to other companies, potential sponsors, etc, you have to choose your words carefully. Sponsors do background checks on everything you say before and while dealing with you. You walk to any company saying you got featured by Modified Mag with that to show and you won't get very far once they see the "feature".

Talk to a company, any real company that sponsors you guys, and take the time to ask them a few questions. When Jeremy was still at Corbeau, I asked him questions every now and then, vital information on what I put on my proposal and how I budget my promoting. Today I'm sponsored by one of the biggest names in the e30 aftermarket community: Ireland Engineering. Based out of California, with nothing but e-mails and a phone call. I'm one out of two e30s in that position right now.

Features promote sponsors directly. Your car in an index picture promotes hardly does anything.

I hope this isn't news to you guys at AeroK.

dude, erick, im posting this up to show and share with my fellow SFL friends, i know its not a feature... sorry "picture" but its still advertistment from a sponsors point of view.

im sure u would be doing the same if ur car was in a mag.

listen, i dont want to start an agruement... so just leave things at that.

children, children, take some chill pills and relax......Erick, my brother is psyched to see his car on the contents page, to be honest his picture is bigger then any picture under Pro AM nationals in that mag. YEs you are correct when he said feature, he should of said "My car is in Modified".

You don't have to educate us on sponsors....My brother doesn't know much about proposals and what sponsors look for because I am the one that deals with that mess. Not him. But thank you for your advice!

Well, Ireland Engineering sounds cool...cause you drive an E30, we have a sponsor from Japan called R.Y.O and we are the only ones in the states with that name. plus this year R.Y.O will be in the US because of us....so look out for R.Y.O although in your case, no E30 parts :(

Here at AK, wer less good at talking and more better at driving.

So I guess we let our driving do our talking??
