There way to many to comment on, but I'm not sure if that's what your going for or not. The one's where she's flinging her hair around were caught at a bad time. She's making funny faces in the second one and the first one it looks like her earing is spit coming out of her mouth.

The black and white ones seem to be the strongest but they seem a little out of focus. I would like to see some of your work were its just a model or a car/bike.

Thats what I am looking for! Yea I am doing another shoot with her this sunday. So I will remember those key points :bigthumbu
 
If you can post up like the best 5 pictures from the next set I'll be glad to comment on them and let you know. I'm currently working on turning my room into a small studio, mostly for bust/head shots.
 
the one of the water hitting her face looks like someone nutted on her face, seriously. the pictures look more like snapshots and not portraits. colors seem washed out. like busa said, the strongest ones are the b n w ones
 
Man...I'm going to be completely honest...those are horrible. The only one that she looks halfway decent in (and by her I mean HER - not the photography) is this one...

I hate to be mean, but I'd rather be honest instead of just saying, "nice pics...she looks great"...because she doesn't...and the pictures don't either.

If you want some critiquing...read up on "How to photography people"...there are tons of writeups all over the place.
 
fredmiranda.com is a great place to learn from. Yes they can be harsh but even in my noob status compared to them I still got nice compliments on my work. Granted I posted like my very very best stuff there. hehe
 
Interesting, Honestly My fav is her in the black and white agianst the tree, If that girl is gonna model, she needs to have clothes on, not the bathing suit top, or and unzipped skirt. I like the dress on her. The bike ones are okay, but could be better. Well work together some time chris. ;) But keep it up.. stay strong.
 
im not much better..... but needs work..... the rear view mirror ones and b&w are half decent but i think you need more simplicity theres too much else to focus on....takes away from the portrait.....trial and error .....keep going....
 
Thats all i am lookin for. This was my first time shooting this girl. I was shooting with the stock lens. I am gonna pick up the 50mm lens.

Where are you located at? I just let my friend borrow my 50mm f1.8 for his 70-300. I'm always looking for more Canon shooters so we could possibly trade lenses that way if you have something that calls for wide angle I have a fisheye that you could borrow. I also have a 430ex flash if you wanted to start getting into shooting with multi flashes.

You can find a lot of models who are willing to shoot for free who have a LOT of past experience, especially in South Florida. I HIGHLY recommend it.

I like all the ideas behind it, you now location, how she's posing everything... except the model herself. I'm sorry, but maybe they'd look better with a different girl.

I agree, I'm on modelmayhem.com and there are a lot of very beautiful girls on there.
