Marshal tires are the latest ultra high performance tire to hit Australian streets. Coming from the Kumho stables, the Marshal tire uses advanced race technologies to increase your cars performance on the road.

These might be cheaper then the already cheap Kumho tires....good drift tires....when they start making noise Im going to buy a set and see how I like them....

Marshal gay name but who cares.....everybody else has the cool names...:)

Sounds cool so are they like a version of the excsta or a whole new tire?

speaking of gay sounding tires has anybody ever tired those federal tires from i think china.
The ad for them says they are drifting inspired?? what they smoke alot?? weird

personally i like mich MXV4's i had those for a month drifted almost everyday in big pine and drove up to hialiea on them and they were corded and i got about 10-12 laps out of them before i decided to pop them by way of ugly open diff donut

exactly the michillen MXV4s are i think the best low HP tire to drift one last all day almost no grip....but with lots of heat they happen to fall apart...there expensive new though....

What you guys need to understand is the 711s have the LOWEST grip on Kumho performance tire line.....711s being "high performance" <decent grip for the money and LAST LONGER....the 712s witch are NOT my favorite tire are the Ultra High performance line...now with kumho new tire the SPT's witch are high tread wear high grip tires....and the best grip out of kumhos tire line are the MX's and let me tell you i have driven on them a couple times they GRIP and for the price very good grip.....now the auto crossing tires theres a bunch from kumho V700 victoracers and more....kumho is now testing to go in to F1 in the next two years....i dotn see yoko or gay falken doing that....

I like my dunlop FM901s very good grip but they dont last.....the yko AVS ES100s i think are the best bang for the buck by a long shot....very good grip for the price.....my drift set up will be after i get more rims and stuff....Front yoko AVS's or Dunlop 901's and kumho 711s in the rear....

I'm sorry to inform you Anthony but my Kuhmos 711s are not lasting me anything up front. I've had them since April, slid DD6, a Ter-Tech event and just a tad bit of street sliding and I"m already down by 1/2 the tread life.

The sidewalls are completely eaten up and I drive with the exact air and I add 10psi for events.

It must be because its on a BMW they need expensive tires....i had them up front so did my bro and juan...they didnt seem to have a problem with them....who cares anyways your out to prove me wrong? Go to auto x events and see who is the NUMBER 1 tire manufacture out there?

I'll have to say Falken is the #1. All I see everywhere is Azenis. Anyhow, saying a BMW needs "expensive tires" is bullshit. Physics is physics and it applies to all cars. Falken Azenis are probably the best bang for the buck auto-x grip tire.

A lot of people say Kuhmos suck, most of those have owned a set in their lives. And if not the 711, then the rest becomes too expensive. The only thing Kuhmo has that other brands dont are pink smoking tires.

my opinion stay away from the falken ziexs. I have them on the vigor and they burn up quick...alex also has them on his car and he says they suck in the rain...i have to agree!

the only thing i would use the ziex for is a rear tire. i notice when im on a really shitty tire the grip change from tire temprature. I did not experiance any change of grip from the ziex 512 after i broke the rear end loose. THEY SUCK for grip, and the sidewall could be stronger.

Yes, Ralph drove his Miata on Ziex's up front in the rain and in the dry. He had a hard time in both cases.

also the ziex' have a smaller sidewall and width then the average size, compared to the rest of the tires....i have noticed that alex's 205/5016 tires on his 7inch wide rims are a tad bit stretched....from what i know 205s dont get stretched till about 7.5 or 8 wide.....same with richards ziexs 225/50/16 on his 7 inch wide rim are almost flush...same thing 225's arnt flush till you get an 8inch wide rim like i haave in the rear...:) just saying that would add to the loss of grip along with high tread wear..

You know what fuck it ill stick with my GoodYear F1s, Dunlop FM901s, Kumho MX's, yokohama(advan) neova's AVS ES100's and so on for the front and Kumho 711s OR Falken Zeix's in the rear wtihc ever i can get ahold onto for cheaper and faster.....agreed?

I had very good luck with 225/50/16 ziex's on the front (killed my under problem) but hate them on the rear the grip is not linier and they start to chunk real easy... zeix ar teh sux on the back.

Dan what are you sliding on?

Dunlop FM901s up front and w/e i find in the rear... IMO Hankooks and Dunlop make the best tires for up front for both wet and dry traction Azenis are okay in the dry and pretty damn good in the wet but Dunlop and Hankook make them look like crap

i Recommend them. The ones I had last me 4 of Ter-Techs Events. And then lots and lots of street drifting. And they werent even the best grip hankook. But they took a fall at DGTrials and finally gave up :'(
