Legalize it Support HR 2943

And the prescriptions the doctors give out, have so many bad side effects. Can cause a number of problems and in most cases just "mask" the pain for a short period of time. How many commercials do you see for recalls on pills? Alot. Weed has been around for centuries as a medicine used for healing purposes.

Prescriptions have more toxins and side effect's then anything they actually synthetically produce marijuana as Marinol... Side effect's are Confusion; dizziness; drowsiness; elevated or relaxed mood

Come on now more people know if it as being high... ROFL...

i dont know what you guys are smoking to be saying stuff like that but i want some! lol jk

Educate yourself ...

It's already been proven and has been NO found cases of people Overdosing on MARIJUANA ALONE!

That's not true. Its overdose related deaths you're referring to. Overdosing can occur, and trigger psychosis and panic attacks in some individuals.

easy solution move to amsterdam!... i would preffer to keep it illegal (and add cigarrettes to it) in order to avoid second hand smoke.. , i dont mind if you keep it to yourself..

hey hey hey to each their own... i support i do understand that it isn't for all but dont prosecute me because you cant hang with it. :D my 2cents

this is the most worthless thread on all of sfldrifters, even worse then anything posted by buriantsu.

I would say alcohol is the biggest gateway drug there is. I have watched many people get drunk and do something they never would have done sober but i can't say the same for pot smokers at all.

^^^ for real... i did some heavy shit and after smoking i realized i liked to me chill and be functional not plastered or off the ways

My bad i typed it wrong

I personally wish cig's were illegal... Or at least illegal to smoke unless you were in a smoker's only room like they have in the airport.

Lets just ignore the fact that drugs also destroy lives and that pot is the biggest gateway drug there is.

^ biggest crack of shit I've ever heard. Out of 104 marijuana user's only 1 trys cocaine. Out of 1000 user's 1 trys heroin. Why because they are keeping weed in the hands of organized crime. Dealer's try to sell more then 1 product to get you onto the more serious shit.

Personally never tryed anything bedside's weed going strong since 3rd grade.

I have watched many people get drunk and do something they never would have done sober but i can't say the same for pot smokers at all.

When have you ever heard of a pot smoker get's fucking BLAZED and goes home and beat's his wife and kid's because of being so high?

Alcohol is more dangerous.

^^ COMPLETELY AGREE ON THIS STATEMENT.

this is the most worthless thread on all of sfldrifters, even worse then anything posted by buriantsu.

Why is it so bad because theirs so many false truths out there about it? It need's to be talked about regardless whither it's decriminalized or not.

There is NO medicine in its NATURAL FORM that compare's to the medical benefit's of Marijuana.

wow 4 pages on nonsense

To everyone this isn't nonscence it's a very slow and steady step forward. Our group of people is starting to have a snowball effect. More and more people are willing to help join the cause when they realize how many people are out there trying to support it.

Alchohol is legal so therefore I am not putting it into the same category as pot. We are talking about a substance that is still under limited legal usage and is not legal by any means for mass consumption. I do believe that alchohol is the biggest in destroying lives because it is widely consumed with little restraint in some cases.

 Wow. Did you hear that from your teacher in heath class? Lol

Thank you! Especially when young kids start drinking from their parents liquor stash at a young age, its alot more easier to get than drugs, and its free too. Ive seen many more people start on liquor and move to other shit, and for the most part stoners just stay getting blazed. Go edumicate yourself Japan101. Crack cocane, herion, meth, even pills doctors prescribe (like roxys and oxys) these are the things that destroy lives...

^ Completely agree if you have no fact's? why say what someone told you by word of mouth.

Didn't you ever hear that you'd go blind from masturbating?
Or if you held your face in a stupid way for too long it would get stuck that way?

Come on those are all common misconceptions from the government same way they said it kills brain cell's. Go do some research.

And do you even know why pot became illegal? Here is a short version for you to read from wiki... but you could just watch the documentary and find out how many things you just never knew about marijuana.http://wiki.answers.com/Q/When_was_marijuana_first_illegal

According to the Federal Bureau of Investigation's Uniform Crime Reporting Program, there were an estimated total of 1,841,182 state and local arrests for drug abuse violations in the United States during 2007. Of these drug abuse violation arrests, 5.3% were for the sale/manufacture of marijuana and 42.1% were for marijuana possession.16

According to the National Drug Intelligence Center there were 5,039 Federal marijuana-related arrests during 2006. This is down from the 5,599 such arrests during 2005.17

According to a 2004 Bureau of Justice Statistics survey of state and Federal prisoners, approximately 12.7% of state prisoners and 12.4% of Federal prisoners were serving time for a marijuana-related offense. This is a decrease from 1997 when the figures were 12.9% and 18.9%, respectively.18

During FY 2008, there were 6,337 Federal offenders sentenced for marijuana-related charges in U.S. Courts. Approximately 97.8% of these cases involved trafficking and 1.6% of cases involved simple possession.19

The Arrestee Drug Abuse Monitoring (ADAM) II program is designed to gather information on drug use and related matters from adult male offenders within 48 hours of arrest. ADAM II serves as a critical source of data for estimating trends in drug use in local areas, understanding the relationship between drugs and crime, and describing drug market activity in the adult male arrestee population in 10 U.S. sites during 2008. In 9 out of the 10 sites, 45% or more of the arrestees reported using marijuana within the past year.20

look when you speak if drugs it is something that is processed, ganja is grown then cured. If you were to categorize it would fall more under a supplement than a drug. Its been used since the beginning of time and look how we have progressed. :D im not saying that is you dont smoke you should go and do it, that is up to the person. What i am saying is dont judge me if im not being ignorant and i use it.
