Laptop Help

Not sure if this is the right section so mods feel free to move it.

Last night my laptop was working great everything was running smooth. Came home from work today to find out my laptop doesn't want to turn on. I plugged it in to charge, it shows that its charging but when i press the power button nothing happens. Would really like to get it working again since my photography pictures are in there. Any help would be appreciated.

Disconnect AC, remove battery, hold power for 30 seconds--plug battery and AC and try again.

Might want to try powering on without the battery as well...

Step 2: Close Laptop
Step 3: Dispose of in nearest Trash recepticle
Step 4: Procced to nearest Apple Store or Best Buy
Step 5: Purchase MacBook
Step 6: Rejoice!

same problem happened to my macbook pro that was 1 month old.....

Tried it, didnt work. Took it to tiger direct and they said it could either be the motherboard or where you actually plug the charger to is a bit loose. Either way its gonna be expensive to fix at a store. Shit sucks.
Thought about a mac but shit is expensive.
