So heres the news, as much as i love subaru, i think this is a big step for the WRC and its dying publicity, Looks like he will be driving a WRC class Focus RS prepared by M sport in the upcoming 2010 season, and supposedly will also be driving in rally america in an Unlimted Class Ford Fiesta like those seen at the X games, but in Monster/DC livery. He is also the first American in 25 years to drive in the WRC.

Either way, im actually pretty excited to see how he does against veteran WRC Drivers like Sebastian Loeb, Mikko Hirvonen and Jari Mari Latvala, all i can say is that this WRC season i will actually be watching seeing theres more players on the table.

He's going to be last on every race. Watch and I'm not just saying that. He's no where NEAR a WRC driver.
 
there will always be haters. Ken Block is a pretty good driver. hyped up? yes. but does he know how to drive? yes.

give the guy a fucking chance. i am actually interested in this my self. actually been looking at the Rally Series ran in the US and it def looks like fun.

Pastrana was in P-WRC and he failed at that and returned to Rally America. That shows you exactly whats going to happen here.
 
damn they just spent a ton of money on Vaughn Gitten Jr. to practice and learn rally i wonder what they are planning

yep thats what im saying i still think they can both drive better then anyone on here but they werent trained like the wrc guys are.
 
im pretty interested to see how he does, first race will be in mexico, so looks like hes not running a full season this year.
 
He is only running some select races...maybe full season next year, he is running wrc focus in wrc, and Ford Fiesta in US, built by same guys who run pikes peak this year...and yes both Pastrana na Block did run WRC 2008 in last places...they were running in Pwrc class and even guys with N group were beating them...so it will be interesting...last time they were running Subaru cars, but since Subaru is not running factory team anymore they went with Ford.
 
we'll see, they are both good drivers with good sponsors, but the world of WRC is not as easy at all... dont forget that he also need to get a good co-pilot and some times that can be tricky.

like every new comer it takes time from pro to superstar, hopefully its a good year for them... I just hope its not like drifting a few years back, "oh hey I have a 240sx and a vid with cool special fx, SPONSOR ME!!!" and then at comp time they suck more ball than a $2 hooker. and now some sponsors don't want to get into drifting or they get weak on what they want to give.
