ka24de engine compression test!!!

ill like to noe what is the right psi for a ka24de engine compression test. some one told me that n e thing below 150 the engine is no good plz let me noe thanks.

1. You need to search
2. Learn to spell
3. You should be looking for anything around 180, anything below 150 is a sign of an unhealthy/bad engine. Variance between cylinders shouldn't be anything more than a 14-15PSI difference.

I ran an engine with 90psi in all cylinders for the last 6 months so I'm just letting you know how much abuse these suckers can take, but the first answer is right.

my motor has 130-140 and it runs hard, also if u dont have a gauge autozone rents them for free

Under the "Tool Loaner Program" (from Discount Auto Parts, I would assume it is the same, or similar, in other stores) you usually have to pay the full price of the item, for it to be released to you and then get a full refund when returnig the item.

Test the motor, if everything seems fine, then you shouldn't have a problem running the motor until then. You should also give it a tune up and inspect the belts, filters and hoses and replace anything, if necessary.

engine build

what pistons, valves, camshaft, cams etc...... will be the good ones for the ka to hit stock at least 250 to 300hp all motor
