well i gotta ka24 sohc in my car, i was wondering if it was possible to just put a dohc head on it and if it would work?or would i be better off building a whole motor
 
to answer your question yes it can be done
but
by the time you get and modify everything your better off just getting a complete twin cam motor
 
im new to 240s, so bear with me...im used to domestics( cobras, corvettes, camaros etc) but to just switch the head, what would have to be changed, and if i swap a whole motor, what changes have to be made to like the harness and everything
 
motor, tranny, ecu, harness, cluster, all the acc. i think the power steering resevor needs to be moved to the drivers side. dont know about the drive shaft or coil
 
take ur time man, these are fun little cars and have so much potential into being exactly the cars of ur dreams......

since when does a dohc head fit on a sohc. u have to buy a whole dohc motor an with harnes an ecu
