I was reading on zilvia of some guy building a sr20det for 350-400 hp. It cost him about 5k for the rebuild...Why don't you just build a ka? If your going to take it apart anyways...wtf is the point. After you rebuild the ka the sr would be the same shit...Just that I could go anywhere to find ka parts.... :bigthumbu ka>sr... :bigthumbu

You don't need to build an SR for 350-400hp. You don't need to spend $5k building an SR to handle that kind of power if you did choose to build it. Zilvia is full of retards and kids with so much money to blow that they'll easily drop $3k on whatever the most jdm tyte wheel of the month is. Some people prefer one engine to the other (as you have stated 100 times w/ your "ka>sr").

Why is this thread still open, it was stated ealier that just because someone else's motor makes 350,400, or even 500 whp on a stock bottem end doesn't mean your motor will. So saying that one motor can make more power safer is just an opinion and is completely irrelevent to the topic. The OP doesn't even want to make over 300 hp and he already said he is doing an SR blacktop. So why are the mods slacking and letting people post in here still, do your job mods...Lock it up.

Ive been through to many of these Ka vs Sr threads. In the end they don't prove shyt. Just a whole lot of opinions. I might betray the Ka and go lsx soon... so yeah.
